The Civil Right Act of 1964 still stands strong after 50 years.

Many of the features that are involved in this act are still being enforced in today's society.
 

In this time period Women's Rights are still intact: meaning women still have the to voice their opinion and vote. These same women still have right to work as they please too. The Civil Right Act of 1964 was also the reason jobs and schools are aloud to discriminate against someone just because of their ethnic group, because of their religion or even color.

Schools graduation rates have increased to 78.2% percent since this act has been in effect.
